(Mile 8 means we are 8.0 statute river-miles to the convergence of the Ohio River… south of that, the Mississippi numbering changes to miles from New Orleans LA, (NOLA).

But we will head UP the Ohio River instead, sometime tomorrow.

Boston Bar – no longer a good anchorage.

I just received this pic from Louise of m/v Nine Lives. She took this picture of Boston Bar on September 22, 2022. The creek has filled in with sand, and the anchorage is no longer a good spot to drop the hook!
