New mooring bit

I wanted something more capable than the single cleat up forward. The cleat is “hidden” behind the windlass, and would not be able to fit line greater than 1/2″. So this new mooring bit is a nice addition to the bow!

Second Lobsters of this season with Mike Bendit

We took Mike on a boat ride after work tonight, on Shelly’s birthday. We landed at Salt Shack and got treated to our first Lobster of the season. Thanks Mike! Mike’s company, Software Development Resources, represents a number of software developers, including Facade Intereactive, a vendor of ours at H2M architects + engineers.

There are over 50 beach volleyball courts set up here at Cedar, most all booked weeknights for leagues. Unfortunately, it was the wrong night of the week to see my H2M co-workers competing here.

Interesting boat!
