Tracking the Maine Maritime Academy training ship
The State of Maine training ship with two of our friends from Harrison Maine aboard: Jake Knapp and McKinley Murphy; this morning they entered New York Harbor. I tried calling them on VHF-Marine channel 16 when they were passing by Babylon NY (south shore Long Island) where we are, but we were just out of range.

Changes at Cedar Beach.
First time tying up at Cedar Beach this season. Lots of contractors readying the facility for a new season. Big improvements. Lots of IPE decking being laid down. New floor plan. New management and branding. Should be nice!
Supper yes, but no overnight…
This pic shows where our slip is and where we met up for supper after work tonight. We won’t stay here for the night as it is chilly and windy, and there are some scattered T-Boomers around tonight.

There are 3 other boats on S-Dock tonight!
The latest arrival was Eric aboard Sweet Madeline just as we arrived after work. “Vinny” aboard his fishing boat was also checking his lines tonight.
It looks like tomorrow will be the better day of this weekend. So we will be trying to take advantage of that to put some miles on.
