Well protected harbor in Indian Creek, Kilmarnock VA Brand new transient docks at Chesapeake Boat Basin. We tied up temporarily on the new transient docks to await our turn into the fuel dock. The sail boat only took on 4 gallons of diesel! … ensuring there was some left for us! LOLSailboat fueling up ahead of us. $4.86/gallon dieselIt appears that they used all FRP pilings for the new docks?!?! It will be fun to see how they hold up in the years ahead. Looking over towards the office, Ships store, and swimming pool.
