
So, here is the rest of the story:

Crocks have the pointier snout, are usually larger and more aggressive.
To date, we have not seen either. But the southern St Johns River, we hear, will certainly be a place to see one or both of these species.
Reportedly, there are occasional sightings in the northern St Johns River and Ortega River where we winter.
