Species ID…

I snagged this pic from the Internet. I think it was purposefully ambiguous in an attempt to be humorous.

So, here is the rest of the story:

Round snout is the Alligator.

Crocks have the pointier snout, are usually larger and more aggressive.

To date, we have not seen either. But the southern St Johns River, we hear, will certainly be a place to see one or both of these species.

Reportedly, there are occasional sightings in the northern St Johns River and Ortega River where we winter.
