Cumberland Island GA

We left FL waters today and anchored at the south end of Cumberland Island GA.
We have anchored here twice before, and we saw a submarine last time!
Interestingly, this shows the geographic limits of our yacht insurance. Note that from July1 to November 1 we have no coverage south of this island! So, it is nice to be here before the deadline in a few days.

A good Looper friend of ours, Sandy of Tipsy Turtle just went by aboard an excursion boat and she snapped this pic of Shellerina!

We are waiting for the tide to start coming in as we head north today. Some shallow water ahead, so having a foot or two of tide beneath us will help ensure a safe passage without hitting bottom. ICW in GA is tough that way.
